Jumping through the timeshare hoops can get tiresome.

Once the timeshare companies have your money, what is their incentive to service you??? You are in a contract to pay them and that's all they care about is the dollars.

Wyndham Timeshare Owner remains calm after getting the shaft!

This Wyndham timeshare owner was actually calm about the way he was mistreated. I'm surprised he didn't get in to detail about how they sell week vacations to the general public for less than what the owners pay in maintenance fees or how they tell owners "Sorry no availability" Then sell premium time to the general public for a profit.

Timeshares are bad. Westgate Timeshares are horrible!

You will have a better chance reselling a pair of used dirty underwear than a Westgate Timeshare. You'll also get more $$$ from the sale of underwear.

Timeshares are a liability and not an asset. Who wants to own a liability? Who thinks they can sell a liability? When you buy a timeshare you buy empty promises from a timeshare salesman then you step in to concrete shoes by signing a timeshare contract.

Royal Holiday Scam! Who spends $30K on points??

What it all boils down to is that Timeshare owners and Vacation club members all are buying in to empty promises. The contracts have a clause, that says whatever is said in the sales presentation doesn't apply to the contract you are signing!

urgent message to timeshare owners trying to sell!

Dear unfortunate timeshare owner looking to sell,

My experience shows that these timeshares and many other nice ones alike don’t even sell for $1 on the largest global market place on the Internet: eBay. Take the time to see what I’m talking about by looking at the completed listings. I help timeshare owners legally exit out of their timeshares, so they don’t ever have to pay another payment or maintenance fee again. Whether your timeshare is paid off or you still have years of payments, I can help you. I will transfer it if it’s paid and help you fight the resort legally if it’s not.

As people are becoming more aware of what a sham the timeshare industry is and how it’s next to impossible to sell a timeshare to an educated buyer it becomes tougher to get out of the timeshare. Right now, it’s still possible.

Nowadays, who would want to buy a timeshare and be locked into a contract for the rest of their lifetime and beyond? Who wants to pay maintenance fees that can unexpectedly rise, not to mention the special assessments and being told, "Sorry no availability" on the week you may need it most? With online companies like Expedia.com that sell the same vacations with air travel for less than maintenance fees, at a moments notice and with a whole lot less hassle than dealing with banking weeks, transferring points, etc... Most people are now saying “NO” to timeshares and walking away from the ones they own.

I’m not an economist but I expect a collapse on the timeshare industry and so does Wikipedia See for yourself…

“The timeshare industry is now showing signs that it too is suffering lately, similar to the subprime mortgage meltdown.”

If you are looking for a 100% guaranteed exit strategy for your timeshare then please call me.

Sorry if this is not the news you wanted to hear. Timeshares are a money pit and they drain you from the moment you get one. The only way to stop the slow bleeding, is to get out ASAP .

Now don’t get me wrong , my parents had a timeshare and as a kid our whole family enjoyed going on the same vacation year after year but the industry has changed and so did my family’s vacation needs and their maintenance fees. At some point it’s not worth it anymore to pay for a vacation you are not taking and it would make me mad when the resorts sells a vacation week to the general public and have “no availability” to the actual timeshare owners. What will you do when you're 80 years old? How do you like being mistreated and overpaying?

Timeshares are a nightmare.
